The Premier Western-Themed FAST Channel Gets New Name September 3rd
Imagicomm Entertainment, a distributor of dynamic films and compelling television series, today announced that its widely popular Cowboy Way FAST channel is rebranding as WESTERN BOUND on September 3, 2024. The announcement was made by Mark Kang, SVP of Worldwide Distribution for Imagicomm Entertainment.
“As the FAST channel market continues to grow, viewers are looking for ways to cut through the clutter,” said Kang. “The new name and branding provide a much easier and ironically ‘faster’ search and discovery functionality for those looking for Western content. WESTERN BOUND will continue to air the most beloved Western classics, as well as iconic and compelling original series and movies.”
Kang continued, “Unlike other entertainment genres, Westerns never go out of style. Rather, they remain incredibly popular as audiences continue to embrace the unique characters of the American frontier and the stories that depict the adventure of those who braved the wild west.”
WESTERN BOUND will feature original programming from Western-themed top-10 cable network INSP, including popular original reality series, The Cowboy Way, Turquoise Fever and Ultimate Cowboy Showdown, as well as scripted dramas like Wild West Chronicles, Into the Wild Frontier, The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger, and ELKHORN. The channel will also feature movies from Imagicomm Entertainment’s library of original content, including films not currently available on any other FAST channel, such as County Line, Blue Ridge,The Warrant and more. WESTERN BOUND is distributed on numerous platforms and available to more than 200 Million users in North America.
